COLUMBUS, Ohio - Women?s volleyball middle blocker Danielle Meyer (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 4 First Team, by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). She is now eligible for Academic All-America honors. Meyer was a second-team selection as a sophomore. She was named a first-team all-district selection last season and later was named a second-team Academic All-American.
Meyer is leading the team with averages of 5.11 points, 4.12 kills and 1.41 blocks per game. She is tied for second in digs per game at 2.59 and has 18 ace serves on the season. She ranks second in Ohio State career statistics in points (2,065.5), total blocks (468) and assist blocks (411) and is third in kills with 1,705
