Because we were going to our 3rd and 4th line this year. Ricky Jean Francois was suspended for the regular and we lost Charles Alexander for the entire year with ACL. Pittman is coming back from 2 years of rehabilitation for injuries and may get a 6th year from the NCAA. The season has forced us into SO and FR sooner than we normally would and I do not think they understand the defense as much as Dorsey and Alexander. Injuries in the secondary has seen the rise of true freshman phenom Chad Jones (TF) and we have even seen some of Jai Eugene (RSFR).

The injury to Dorsey has not allowed him to protect our LB's as much and allows people to concentrate on Tyson Jackson coming around the end. One of our best LB's have been playing hurt all year and so has Steltz who got jacked in the Kentuckey game. Chevis Jackson has been dealing with eye problems experienced in the Kentucky game, but I think that is past him now...
