Totally agree with your comments regarding the Tigers. Plus there one year plan might not pan out if a couple of their "older" players don't even make it through the season.
I would like to make the deal for Harren because I don't think it necessarily means we still would not be able to afford C. C. Harren it is signed through 2010 starting and a little over 5 mil and increasing 1 mil each year through 2010. Plus getting Harren for really an "unknown" prospect like Miller does not bother me. I have heard they want Miller, Laffey, Sowers, and possibly Crowe. If they would take Lee instead of Laffey, I would say deal for Harren.
I am not sure about Chaves because he has been injured off and downed the past couple seasons and I would think that the price would be too steep if we wanted him to be included in a deal.
