Sorry, but no.
I could give you chapter and verse here on all of the differential stats that I keep and how they account for the quality of competition and how they have successfully predicted most bowl game outcomes for as far as they go back (2000)...
But just look at the Cap One and Outback Bowls last year. If Ohio State showed up (which is laugh-out-loud ridiculous), then Florida is the only SEC team that came close to showing up in their bowl game last year.
I have lived in 7 different states and I have talked to people from a lot of different places, but the only people that I talk to that
really think it's possible that Ohio State played their best last January are the creme de la creme of delusional SEC fans. Yes, Florida was very, very good last year. But Ohio State was too when they actually showed up.
