Wait a minute here. 04 Ohio State was was probably the second worst Ohio State team of this decade. They'd lost a record 14 players to the NFL draft from the previous year and they went 7-4. This years team is 11-1 and ranked #1 and is loaded with present and future 1st and 2nd round NFL picks. You don't think there is a dramatic difference there? What planet are you on?
Additionally, Oklahoma State was favored in the Alamo Bowl and was supposed to be a team that Ohio State would struggle with because of their "speed" and their versatile QB. Ohio State proceeded to dominate every aspect of the game and the 33-7 final score was not indicative of how badly Oklahoma State was dominated.
