I spoke by cell phone with Julie Posey, DeVier's mother. Julie said DeVier was getting ready for a flight back to the area.
I asked if DeVier might catch the Buckeyes game in New Orleans, but Julie said he is heading back to Cincinnati so as not to miss school. Julie said DeVier will compete in the indoor track season this winter and added he will compete in outdoor track this spring for the Lancers.
