Warren Harding improved to 10-0 after they handed Zanesville their first lost of the year by the score of 60-58. WGH was up by 12 with 1:30 left in teh game, but Zanesville used a furious run to battle back, tying the score at 58 with 13 seconds remaining in the gaqme. Desmar Jackson, who had 21 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals for the Raiders, missed a three pointer wit about three seconds left, but Damian Eargle rebounded the ball and put it in teh basket as time expired. Eargle totaled 12 points & 9 rebounds. Sheldon Brogdon had 19 points, while Chris Henderson fell 2 points short of a double-double with 8 points & 10 rebounds. WGH had a +14 edge in rebounds, which ended up being the story of the game.
Zanesville is as good as advertised, and they deserve an awful lot of credit for not throwing in the towel late in the game. Both teams have a shot to make it back to Columbus in March, so we'll have to see what happens. Lots of basketball left to be played.
