Yet they remained strong, and to this day have some of the best fans.( They were well represented at the browns game this year!)

But I know that there are millions of fans that would just love to be in our shoes for just one of these games, win or lose. In time the pain will wear off, and we can look back and celebrate these teams properly!

GO BUCKS!
GO BILLS!!
Try being a Bills, Buckeyes, Indians, Cavs and Sabres fan! I was also fairly young as well during the Super Bowl run, but I was still a huge fan then. Still remember crying myself to sleep after Norwood's miss. Going through the four Super Bowl losses was tough, I was in elementary school(3rd-6th grade) and I got ragged on a lot by other kids, including by some of my teachers! Thinking back on it I'm sure today a teacher would be suspended for doing something like that since everybody is so overly sensitive. I'm still very proud of those Bills teams for how resilient they were and will always have great memories of all those players.
I think the 32-point comeback against Houston on their way to their third Super Bowl perfectly sums up what kind of team they were. They were without Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Corneilius Bennett and if I recall Bruce Smith played but was banged up and they still faught through it to win that game. That's my favorite Bills game of all-time and I think only a Super Bowl victory will ever top that game. I still remember I had to go to the store with my mom that day and missed most of the first half. By the time we got back it was already 21-3 Houston and I was instantly put in a bad mood. I went over to my neighbor's house, who also happened to be a Bills fan, and we decided to get our revenge on the Oilers by beating the crap out of them in Tecmo Super Bowl with the Bills during halftime. I remember in the second half after the ball went through Keith McKeller's hands and Bubba McDowell returned the int for a score and it was 35-3, the Bills started to get it going and all of a sudden everything started to go their way. Warren Moon no longer was playing out of his mind, the Bills capitalized on some blown coverages, botched field goal snaps, they were getting turnovers and Houston was now in a state of shock because they thought they had already won the game. Even when the game went into overtime I knew the Bills were going to win, there was no way they were going to be denied at that point. Being a fan of all those teams makes me really appreciate the Buckeyes title in 2002 because of all the disappointment and heartache my teams have caused me. The 2002 title was even more special considering I was a student at OSU at the time as well, so I feel like I have a real connection with that team because they were my peers and classmates. I look forward to the day the Bills win the Super Bowl and I hope it happens in my lifetime. I'm not ashamed to say I would probably shed a few tears of joy because it would be that special after having been through all the disappointments we've had to endure as a fanbase.
