Oden headed to Arkansas

Lawrence North senior Anthony Oden, younger brother of former Wildcats basketball star Greg Oden, said he will play football at Arkansas.
At 6-8, 295 pounds, Anthony Oden played football as a junior at Dayton (Ohio) Dunbar and as a senior with the Wildcats. He is being recruited as an offensive tackle after playing both tight end and tackle at Lawrence North.
"It's a blessing to have the opportunity to play in the (Southeastern Conference) after just two years of high school football," Oden said. "During my unofficial visit, I liked how everything is like a family there. . . . I'm excited."
