Posey looking to join talented receiving corps

Who caught the first ever touchdown pass?
The name Oliver Thompson might not mean a lot to most football fans, but DeVier Posey knows how important Thompson was to the game of football.
In the 1879 game between Yale and Princeton, Thompson caught the first recorded forward pass in college football, thrown by Yale's Walter Camp.
"He paved the way for me," Posey said. "You and I don't even know his name but he did so much for football."
The five-star wide receiver is ranked number 21 in the country, number three at receiver, according to rivals.com. He stands 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds and runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash.
"From the end of his junior year I've had him as one of the top 10 in Ohio," said Bill Kurelic, recruiting analyst for Bucknuts.com. "He's without question one of the top 10 receivers in the country."
