Great discussion first off and second, I agree with most of you. I am all for an offer to Studlien and he is the player I would like to see get an offer the most in Ohio at this point. However, we do have the ability to be very selective in who we pick up at this point, seeing as how we are stacked at LB (unless you subscribe to ESPN
). I doubt we get Ferrell but it appears we have a legit shot at Bell. However, I would love to take that "gamer" to go in between Klein and Whiting. I think the LB corps of Carpenter, Hawk, and Schlegel had two measurably gifted guys (Hawk+Carpenter) to go along with a "gamer" in the middle (Schlegel). In any event, I'm more than content with waiting to see how things play out, regardless if Studlien ends up going to Illinois because of it.
