1) crabtree has been a big time wr for years, before ttech. Watch the kid play.
2) I think 28 and cty are both a bit extreme when it comes to robiskie and the draft. He was not a consensus first rounder, but certainly included in enough mocks (both in the 1st and as a bubble guy) that neither extreme is very fair.
3) I'd like to see what kind of production hartline would put up with Troy... Even moreso with Ginn or Holmes commanding more attention than injured robo. With troy's accuracy and ability to buy time while still looking downfield, I believe he'd register a lot more hard-nosed possession catches. He also had an easy TD to open the UM game when todd grossly underthrew him

Not sure it can be said better than this. Four years of first round wrs, 2-3 lined up together since 03.
I don't think we ever saw the wash TD explosion later in the year. Were the weak jumps during the purdue & ill ints a lack of effort/execution... caused by the injury... Or a lil of both?
