OSU football: 2009 commitment doesn't mind hubbub over Pryor

The crowd in Value City Arena yesterday afternoon was well aware that Terrelle Pryor was in the house, but Jamie Wood was incognito. While the fans chanted "We want Pryor!" as the blue-chip quarterback prospect walked across the court with coach Jim Tressel for a quick, private meeting during halftime of the
OSU-Wisconsin game, no one struck up "We want Wood!"
Not that it mattered, said Wood, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back from Pickerington Central. He already had committed to the
OSU recruiting class of 2009, becoming its eighth member.
"I've loved the Buckeyes since the day I was born, since I knew what football was," said Wood, who also had offers from Illinois, Stanford and Kentucky. "So to be able to have this opportunity, to be able to decide whether to be a Buckeye or not, why would you pass that up?"
