Boys hoops: Plymouth rolls to district title game
With 6-foot-7 center Jacob Furr and do-it-all point guard Brook Turson leading the way, the Big Red opened a 22-8 lead after the first quarter.
Less than three weeks ago, St. Paul (16-7) upset Plymouth 44-43 in Norwalk. Furr and Turson scored 40 of Plymouth's 43 points in the loss. Wednesday, Plymouth's dynamic duo combined for 39 points. This time, however, they had plenty of help. Cory Brown and Alex Mowry each scored nine points, while Cody Smith added eight.
"That's a testament to the hard work those guys do," said Brook Turson, who had
25 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. "They put up some big offensive numbers for us. The credit goes to them."

Big numbers again for Brook. Plymouth will play Sandusky St Mary's Friday at 7pm in Willard. That should be a really good HS basketball game. Plymouth needs all their kids to contribute in this one.
