The Jacksonville Jaguars, who took steps to upgrade their offense on Friday, turned their attention to the defensive side Saturday, signing unrestricted free agent cornerback Drayton Florence.The five-year veteran had spent his entire NFL career with the San Diego Chargers, where he appeared in 74 games, with 43 starts.
Florence, 27, was regarded by many as the second-best cornerback in the unrestricted free agent pool, after only former New England standout Asante Samuel, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.
