USC Checks In With Nixon

 USC offensive line coach John Hunt spoke Tuesday with OL Xavier Nixon (6-7 270) of Fayetteville, NC Nixon said Tuesday night. Nixon missed a call Tuesday from his Clemson recruiter Chris Rumph but said he talked to Rumph about two weeks ago. Nixon has not visited any school due to basketball but said he will drop in at USC and Clemson at some point. On his spring break he plans to visit Tennessee, Ohio State, Penn State and West Virginia. Nixon said he has 28 offers and feels Miami and North Carolina are recruiting the hardest. He does not claim a favorite.
