PITTSBURGH: Jeannette (Pa.) High School quarterback Terrelle Pryor, considered to be the best unsigned high school football player in the country, plans to finally announce his college choice at a news conference today.
Pryor was ready to sign with Ohio State at a similar news conference on NCAA letter of intent day Feb. 6, but decided at the last minute to delay his selection. His father, Craig, wanted him to take more time to consider attending nearby Penn State.
The 6-foot-6 Pryor led his high school team to the Pennsylvania Class AA basketball championship last weekend at Penn State, but he has not made an official visit to the school since postponing his decision.
