Brandon Chillar signed a two-year contract with the Green Bay Packers today, according to reports. Chillar, the team's first veteran free agent signing this offseason, is expected to compete with
Brady Poppinga for the starting position at strong-side linebacker.
Chillar will receive more than $3 million in the first year of the two-year deal, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. The contract is worth $5.4 million, and Chillar can make another $1 million in incentives, his agents told the Press-Gazette....
