I think, given the strongly negative sentiments about the current administration, a lot of people forgot how they really felt about Billary in the White House. Initially HRC did a good job not resurrecting those memories. But once she started to lose ground to Obama, the veil came off, she resorted to some familiar old and dirty tactics, and the Hillary some of us despised came tearing through.
Time cures a lot of wounds, but her attacks on Obama opened them back up... I thought, for sure, she'd be able to change her spots for the campaign.
