I thought I'd start a separate thread to track and acknowledge the Ohio State students and alumni who will be competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Ohio State has produced well over a hundred Olympic athletes who have won over 70 medals. Were Ohio State University a country, it would rank among the all time top 30 for both overall medals and Gold medals.
To start the thread, Ohio State alumnus Hanna Thompson earned a spot as one of the three women fencers to represent the US in Beijing.
