It was a great night to be a Pens fan. I finally found the local gathering spot for Pens fans here and look forward to making some new friends over playoff hockey.

IMO the biggest change over the last three years has come from the way the team approaches games - Mario is and will always be my favorite Penguin, but he was sort of a porcelain doll. In contrasts it seems no one on this team (or recent teams) is above dropping the gloves and getting physical and that's made all the difference in the world, especially as the play in the crease has gotten tighter. This will benefit us well as we move into playoff land where the game slows down and the physicality increases.

When you pair this with the increased player development and smarter free agent spending, you've got a good shot!!
