THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
It was 15 minutes before an Ohio State baseball practice, and coach Bob Todd was talking about how quickly time had flown by on him. He wasn't thinking in terms of that day but rather in years. This is his 21st season with the Buckeyes and 25th as a college head coach.
On Jan. 3, 2009, he will be inducted into the American Baseball Coaches Association hall of fame. The selection committee is composed of active and retired coaches.
Todd, 59, has earned his place with 938 career victories going into a four-game Big Ten series against Minnesota that begins at 6:35 tonight in Bill Davis Stadium.
