They barely made it to a bowl game last year...by the skin of their teeth. The closest thing that Indiana has had to a sustained "rise from mediocrity" in their entire history was an eight-year stretch from 1987-1994 when they had six winning seasons...still, even their best year in that stretch was 8-3-1 in 1988. We have three losses in a season and fans are freaking out...Indiana's three-loss season is their only one in the last 40 years (they were 9-2 in 1967). We're #3 all-time in winning percentage...Indiana is #115 out of #119. Ohio State and Indiana are about as polar opposites as you can get.
