I love the Bengals...I like CJ...and I would love to believe he's just screwing around, but one thing that Chad has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt over his career is that he is all about marketing himself and maximizing the dollars he can earn beyond his playing contract (not saying it in a good way or bad way, just saying).

Banter thru the media back and forth with Carson (if you believe he's just effing with reporters) is one thing, but I don't think he'd say "I don't want to play for the Bengals any more / in Cincy" and tell everyone he's going to hold out if he didn't truly think it would get him traded because I think that will kill any remaining popularity in Cincy he has. And whining every other day on ESPN/NFL Net., getting booed at home games and villified on talk radio won't make you a Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods of the advertising world.
