1. Georgia- Understandable; may be the best team but with that schedule could easily have three or four losses
2. USC- Another no brainer in the top 5. Has to play Ohio State early. May be a make or break game
3. Oklahoma- Can't complain with this one either. 10+ win team year in and year out with one of the best QB's in the country
4. Ohio State- Another no brainer top 5 team. Returns 18 (or is it 19?) starters on a team that went to the National Title game
5. Florida- Can't complain with a #5 ranking. We may have the best offense in the Nation but our defense is still unproven. We never really improved in that area all eyar last year, partly due to youth but also due to injuries (not making an excuse but facts are facts)
6. Missouri- If they play like they did last year then I have no complaints, I just don't see them doing that. They play @ Texas this year (which I think we be a Loss) and I also expect them to lose a few more games (like to Nebraska)
7. Clemson- They have a killer running game with Spiller and Davis and a good team if they can finally put it all together. With no real dominant team look for them to win the ACC
8. Texas- Texas is back. Well they never really went anywhere but expect great defense as usual and for them to be in every game and challenge for the Big 12 title and maybe even National Title if things go well
9. West Virginia- They return Pat White and should win the Big East rather easily
10. Arizona State- Should once again challenge USC for the Pac 10 title but don't expect them to win it
11. Wisconsin- Second best team in the Big 10. No more or less
12. LSU- Lose some key players but return RP. He has all the talent in the World but I just don't think he has what it takes for them to win the SEC. Should challenge for the west title, though
13. Texas Tech- Always one of the top offensive teams in the country but always struggle against the better teams. 10 wins is possible but not much else
14. Kansas- Like Missouri, show me you can do it more than once before I believe you belong in the pre season top 25.
15. Illinois- This is funny. I don't see them anywhere near the top 25. Zookers are going to disappoint if you truly believe they are a top 15 team
16. BYU- Been close the last two years to undefeated. This may be the year they do it. Best non BCS team in the Country
17. Tennessee- Have to disagree with them being the 17th best team in the country but they should be good enough for 8-9 wins and third in the East
18. USF- They started out last year great and kind of faded. But with Louisville losing BB, they should place second in the Big East
19. Auburn- Always a pain in the butt to us, Auburn should challenge LSU for the Sec West title..hope we face them in the SEC Championship game
20. Pittsburgh- Another Big East team that could surprise. I expect them to seriously challenge USF for second in the Big East. I just don't trust Wanstach as a coach yet
21. Florida State- This one made me laugh. 21st best team is Florida State? They have talent, that's for sure. But they also have 36 or so players suspended the first 3 games for cheating and everything else and terrible coaching
22. Penn State- Joe Pa has a talented team. They should win 8-10 games or so
23. Fresno State- One of the better Non BCS schools. 10 wins easily
24. Virginia Tech- I thought they would be higher than this. I could see anywhere from 7-10 wins.
25. Wake Forest- Should challenge for the ACC title but I still don't think they are a school that has learned to win year in and year out just yet. Doing it once is great but doing it all the time is a lot harder
