Jeannette players thrilled with championship rings

Jason Marquis was shocked when he first saw the rings the Jeannette football players received for winning the WPIAL and PIAA AA championship this year. The players, coaches, cheerleaders and support staff received their rings at a ceremony during a banquet Sunday night.
"You can't get one that looks any better," Marquis said. "This is something I'm proud to wear."
The diamond-cut silver ring has the player's name on the side along with the team's record, a picture of Heinz Field and the final score on the WPIAL title game.
