If Troy just sealed the deal in Glendale this would be easy. Unfortunately he did not and untill someone else comes along the GOAT discussion will always come down to your own criteria of what defines greatness.
CK and Rex Kern won NC's but had generally weak numbers(although Rex played in an era that didn't lend itself to gaudy passing stats).
Art S has the numbers but no NC.
Troy has the Heisman, the Wolverine killer and some decent numbers but missed out on the NC.
If I had to pick one to be the
OSU QB forever it would probably be Troy.
