His statements were intended to get a rise out of ``public'' but in this day and age nobody is shocked from cruelty or any outlandish behavior for that matter. Before somebody starts with the ``burgers'', yes, there is some hypocrisy there, and maybe I wouldnt care that much if I didn't watch the race myself. However, seeing the beautiful horse galloping around just minutes before, so full of life, part of such a joyous occasion and minutes later laying on the ground, I just felt terrible myself. Maybe that is realizing your own mortality, I don't know. Anyway, I don't intend to give moral lessons to anyone, a horse died, you don't care, I understand, but do not try to make the ones that care look foolish. I guess you can understand that, too.
