Considering 1B boasts most of your dominant hitters, 5th for Joey Votto is very respectable. I'm sure the 3 HR game didnt hurt him any.

I figured E5 would be higher actually. He's completely changed my opinion of him over the last few weeks and I hope he continues. I expect to see him top 3 by end of the season.

BP had a bit of a slump and Chase Utley is a friggin monster. I expect those two to be #1,#2 by the end also.

Good for Bako and Keppinger. Most of us really didnt expect this type production I'm guessing. We knew Kep could hit but he's over achieved.

How significant will the improvement be when Jay Bruce gets the call up? I'm hearing rumblings that the brass are just waiting on JR. to hit 600 and then make the move for PR purposes. They dont want him hitting 600 for another team. I can see that but if we're going to do that at least bring up Bruce so he can start getting acclimated prior to the switch. I want to see if he can handle the big leaguers before I want to label him as the saviour as most have done. Adam Dunn hopefully just had a bad April. If he gets the lumber going in the other direction he'll be fine. I wonder do you think he's been pressing so far this year trying to carry everyone and just hasnt gotten it on track? I think maybe so. I look for him to get his average back up to the .260-.270 range before the All Star break and start mashing the HR's. The pitching just needs to hang in there minus Bronson and Belisle, they're done imo, and keep firing at it until the momentum changes. As bad as they've played thus far, they arent out of the race by a long shot.

The only teams to win a series from the Dbacks this season are Philly and our enigma of a team the Cincinnati Reds.
