It's amazing how bad these guys have gotten in such a short period of time. Should have seen it coming when the rest of the competitive AL teams went out and improved this offseason and good old Shapiro decided to stand pat. They look slow, old and disinterested out there and have one of the worst managers and worst hitting instructor in organized baseball. I was saying 75 wins this year, now I'm thinking more in the 66-70 range. Of course, that seems to be falling with each pathetic outing. It's just a sinking ship taking on more water each game.
The worst part is that we don't have hardly any top notch prospects on the farm either to get excited about. At least then, we could look forward to some August-September call ups. it looks like we're on the verge of another major rebuilding project. My 1 June deadline on Shelton still stands. After that, I'm tuning out. Like I've said, this isn't just bad baseball, its boring baseball. I'll check back in around the deadline in the hope that they'll at least make some moves, but I ain't counting on it.
