LAWRENCE TWP. Northwest lineman Nate Klatt and Massillon defensive back Justin Turner have been nominated to play in the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Klatt, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound center, has received scholarship offers from several Mid-American Conference schools and has interest from Big Ten programs such as Ohio State, Northwestern, Illinois and Iowa.
Turner, a 6-foot-2, 179-pound defensive back, has verbally committed to play at Michigan.
The game is at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3 in San Antonio's Alamodome and televised on NBC.
Klatt is one of 400 football players being considered as a final selection to play in the classic East vs. West matchup.
