First off... congrats on the fine performance today DeVier. A championship and 2-4th place finishes is quite an accomplishment at the Division I level... that triple really showcases his talent and speed.

The state meet has been electronically timed for quite a few years now... at least 14 that I know of.

The track was torn out of Ohio Staduim (
) after the 1998 State meet and the State meet was moved to Dayton for 4 years...
OSU couldn't host it because the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium wasn't completed until the summer of 2001. It came back to Ohio State for the 2003 edition and has been (and most likely will always be) at Jesse Owens ever since.
