 Brynne Shaw/The Plain DealerWith 11 strikeouts in eight innings Friday night, C.C. Sabathia posted his third consecutive game with double-digit whiffs. Grady Sizemore's 3 RBI sealed the Indians' 6-0 victory over the Reds at Progressive Field.
The C.C. Sabathia Trade Bait Tour stopped back in Cleveland on Friday night. All those who scouted in person or watched via satellite should have been satisfied, once again. Sabathia allowed four hits -- all singles -- in eight innings and struck out 11 as the Indians defeated the Reds, 6-0, in front of 34,844 in Progressive Field.
Leadoff man Grady Sizemore homered, doubled and drove in three as the Indians won their second straight. They remain 7 1/2 back in the AL Central as they toppled the last-place Reds for the first time in four tries this season.
