I'm really curious about Bill K and Banks. Not only has Bill K continued to maintain that Banks will be a part of this class despite what I consider ample circumstantial evidence to the contrary, he seems to think much more of Banks' abilities than many others. Not that others don't acknowledge that Banks is an outstanding player--they do. It's just that Bill K has repeatedly referred to Banks as the type of player you just can't say no to and that you've got to hold a spot for. Some recruiting seasons maybe, but I just don't see it this year. I think we already have DB/ATH types that are on par with if not better than Banks, and we're just about full up in those categories. Plus, Banks keeps mentioning he'll take his time and visits. (1) That isn't something you'd expect to hear from Joey Galloway's cousin if he wanted to follow in his cousin's footsteps, and (2) unless he really does have a spot held for him (which I find doubtful) that approach to recruiting is going to get anyone not named Hall, Berry, or Adams left behind this year.
