I have heard from different sources and even in updates where Banks insist the staff has told him to take his time (which is consistent with what Tressel always tells recruits) and that they have saved a spot for him (not consistent with what many "insiders" believe). So Banks is either lying,Tressel is Lying, or the "insiders for the services" are speculating...Scenario 3 is most likely. I think Banks ranking is mediocre because he is more of an athlete. If he were a pure DB his ranking might be higher. Scout has him as a DB and Rivals has him as an athlete. He is an elite athlete that has versatility. Make no mistake any team in the country would love to add a player like Banks to their class. IMO the staff already knows he probably a Buckeye...he said so in an update...they are letting him enjoy the process.
