Just curious as to what happened to the widely expressed
OSU opinion/rumor that if no other OL offer was extended 10 days past Watt's visit then
OSU felt really good about their standing with Watt. Conversely if an offer was extended it undersocred their belief that they may not be leading for Mr. Watt's services.
The Longo offer came at the outlier of that ten day window.
In my opinion I tended to subscribe the the 10 day window theory. It made sense and is a normal patter of practice.
Now will
OSU take both Longo and Watt (and Hall)? I don't know but I tend to doubt it as with Longo they would be stacked at the interior OL position and in need of space for the few outstanding prospects that they are still in on.
