John Daly, sensing an opportunity in the men's field, slims downs, powers up, and finally finds the focus to become the greatest golfer in history. Later, he capitalizes on his fame to run for and win the Tennessee governorship, selecting Phillip Fulmer as his lieutenant governor. For years Daly runs amok with close friend Bill Clinton, terrorizing southern women and running the economy into the ground. Eventually he hits rock bottom, and is forced to leave his position following the "corndog bribe" scandal. Afterwards, he attempts to return to golf, hitting a new low by shooting an 89 in the second round of the 2008 British Open.
