Robinson (Ill.) junior post man Meyers Leonard, who drew a ton of interest last week in Las Vegas, has committed to Illinois.


The 6-foot-11 Leonard told Scout.com national analyst Evan Daniels this afternoon that he picked the Illini over Louisville, Florida and Purdue.

The U of L staff, along with coaches from Kentucky and Indiana all checked out Leonard last week at the adidas Super 64 in Las Vegas.
He's ranked as the No. 43 player in the 2010 class by Scout.com and is likely to rise into the top 25 after the past few weeks.
