They won't do it, but McCain could be "swift boated." Although, Bush smearing him in 2000 got him some immunity with the press. There are a bunch of POW/MIA folks who are still [censored]ed at him for blocking investigations into possible MIAs still being held captive and his efforts to normalize relations with North Vietnam. The McCain trash is floating around out there. I think the divorce stuff is fair game because he has not been entirely forthcoming about how it went down (he had a marriage license to Cindy before the divorce was even final), but some of this stuff is completely unsubstantiated garbage (like the claim he made 30+ propaganda tapes).
