Shugarts, Brian Rolle, and Doug Worthington all re-opened their respective recruitments to some extent after having committed to Ohio State ... and that list doesn't even take into consideration all of the Glenville kids who silently verballed to Ohio State early in the process and then proceeded to take official visits and "waver" on their commitments.

Last season, half of Miami's recruits declared themselves "soft verbals" almost immediately after committing ... and then in the end they all signed with the 'Canes.

More wishful thinking from the Illini ... if Green goes anywhere besides Ohio State, look for it to be somewhere quite a bit south of Champaign.

all the more reason all the general banter/discussion should remain in the rumor mill...
