How else could the 2002 team almost lose to Cincinatti?

Admittedly, things go a little out of control after trying to reign things in after way-too-fast starts against Florida, LSU, and USC. Tressel slammed on the brakes too hard in these games. However, by and large, Tressel Ball leads to lots of wins.

The Purdue game was kind of a nightmare, because tOSU defense outscored Purdue, so the offense really had to be reigned in to avoid any kind of over confidence problem.

Illinois was kind of like a dramatic queen sacrifice in chess, leaving chess fans gasping, but forcing an inevitable checkmate.

Problem solved! I have come to love and appreciate Tressel Ball. We are on track to win the big ten and beat USC in a rematch in the Rose Bowl.

Remember the lessons of history. It is much harder to win the Rose Bowl if you beat your opponent during the regular season.

We are on track. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
