Since I am originally from Cleveland and went to a Cleveland public school, I can tell you that this has been happening for decades. Ohio State just hasn't gotten much love in the Cleveland area when it comes to the parochial schools. We have gone a few guys from St. Ignatius and St. Joseph's but when I went to school there were powerhouse football programs such as Cleveland Cathedral Latin and Cleveland Benedictine. Those schools sent a couple kids to Ohio State but for the most part they went to other universities out of state.
