So, I'm watching the game for the 5th or 6th time, and this is what I want to see from
OSU. Specifically, I think the team turned the corner in this game. Here's the sequence:
OSU's up by 7, MSU has the ball, and is driving, then, all of a sudden, Coleman forces a fumble, which Washington returns to the 17. Three straight runs by Beanie get it into the endzone, but a questionable chop-block call takes it back to the 21. This is precisely where the ofense would stall and settle for a FG. But, TP picks up a good shunk on a run, TP hits Robo for 3, and then TP finds Robo in the endzone on a great pass.
MSU possession: Ringer stopped for two yards (JL). Incomplete pass with great coverage. 3rd down, MSU tries a screen, which Abdalah reads perfectly, and Jenkins was covering, for a loss. Play of the game. Small makes a nice
PR.
Next play: Pryor to Hartline for 56, and just dhort of a TD. Beanie on the punch in. 21-0 Buckeyes. That's the game, right there. Great D, explosive O, Buckeyes in control. The thing I love is the passion that the team showed on D and O. The Abdallah play was huge. It got the sideline fired up, and they were dominant from there on out. That, IMO. is the key to the season, so far. It's 8 weeks into the season, and our tem is hitting on all cylinders. If thery can match it, the future looks btight. Go Buckeyes! Beat Penn State!!!
