But if you play all your pre-conference games in FL you are pretty much going to get the type of teams that you see on the schedule. Actually, I think the Big East-Big Ten Challenge is a good start and will hopefully lead to better spring competition in the years ahead.

I am comparing our schedule only to other B10 teams. Our SOS has ranked 10th, 9th, & 9th in the B10 over the last 3 years, and this year wont be any different... heck we ranked 4th in the state of Ohio in SOS last season! We play 11 games vs teams that finished ranked outside of the top 200 in RPI last year & that's not even counting midweek games or games vs DII teams.
If we ever want to be taken seriously, we have got to stop playing so many games against teams ranked in the bottom third in RPI . Everybody has a few turds on their schedule, but NOBODY in our league plays as many as we do...look it up.
I love this B10/Big East challenge thing. It is a great way to start the year, and i wouldnt mind seeing it every year.
As far as kentucky goes, i have'nt given up on that game yet. I hope it happens...UK seems to think we are still gonna play on 4-21.
