The Crew's celebration train made another stop yesterday, this time at the Statehouse, where Gov. Ted Strickland hosted a rally celebrating the Crew's MLS Cup championship. Horns were blown, mayoral proclamations were made and photos were snapped.



It was a happy affair, tempered only by the likelihood that one of the players being celebrated will likely be lost in the Major League Soccer expansion draft today.
More important, however, might be the player the Crew will retain.
Guillermo Barros Schelotto will return for another season and could be the Crew's first designated player, a source close to both Schelotto and the team said yesterday.
