It is the converse issue really.
Most European built models meeting fuel efficiency standards, made by the Big 3, cannot be sold here due to higher Safety Standards.

Quick - without looking it up, take a guess - how many workers from the Big 3 are in a job bank today?
Now, a follow-up question, how many of the Big 3 Japanese automakers have no equivalent program of their own?
