I think I misunderestimated you. I agree Snead was more highly touted out of HS but that is a separate issue I really wasn't addressing in my post. My point was McCoy went from a struggling redshirt freshman getting manhandled by a superior defense in the beginning of 06', to breaking records later that year and now being one of the best QBs in college football. The Snead situation was relevant to McCoy getting the job, not so much to his development as the quarterback we've seen IMHO.
