I think thats the key. We gotta keep in mind that, come autumn '05, the team isn't going to behave in the same way we last saw at San Antonio (different "chemistry" I suppose). Our defense might not come out with the same speed, power, and precision that they did at the end of this season. If they do, then, well...the B10 and the BCS are in for some [censored].

I'm confidant that JT will do what is necessary to mentally prepare these guys for the Texas game (and we can't overlook the Miami game, gotta win that one first).

This kind of brings up another point I've been thinking about. Playing huge opponents for pre-conference games seems antithetical to Tressel's concept of opening up the playbook as the year progresses. Assuming Tressel does indeed gradually open the playbook (as opposed to the players' individual skills improving, allowing for more risky plays), if we have to pull out all the big plays for Texas to get a W, could we be at a disadvantage against Michigan and the opponent for the bowl game? Because of this will we see different play calling from JT? All this speculation makes me so anxious for next year.
