TAKING TIME FOR THE KIDS – The star of North Babylon's football team, Jason Gwaltney took time away from the field to spend some time in the classroom with Kathi Godfrey's 5th grade class at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School. Gwaltney who has been setting records, most recently for Long Island's rushing record talked to students about the importance of setting goals and achieving them. He urged them to never give up on their dreams and to always give 110% percent in anything they do. The children were excited and inspired by the visit. Gwaltney also signed autographs on footballs for the students.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
So on Wednesday, whether Jason decides to head West, to Morgantown, or to Buckeye Country, let's all remember that Jason is just one player and despite the nature of his recruitment, this is why we all follow this stuff.
