Ohio State shows interest in Moeller QB

Moeller junior QB Andrew Hendrix (6-3, 220) is getting a lot of interest these days with recent offers that include Indiana, Illinois and Kansas. He is also planning a visit to Virginia this weekend with a good chance at an offer.

Ohio State has also expressed interest – making a call to Moeller coach John Rodenberg on Wednesday. Rodenberg is waiting to hear from the Buckeyes once they review Hendrix’s film.

Besides Virginia, Hendrix is also expected to visit Northwestern and Vanderbilt in the upcoming weeks.

Cincinnati.com reported that Illinois offered yesterday.

Hendrix threw for 1,731 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. He was fourth leading passer in the Greater Catholic League.
